What your contribution supports

Gifts support appropriate books and materials, institutional delivery, free AncientReads tools and guides, and reasonable charitable program and operating expenses. These can include shipping, required filings, bookkeeping, and tools used for our work.

The physical-book program is in its startup stage. Funds may be pooled and used as resources and recipient needs permit. Prices, taxes, and shipping affect purchasing capacity. We do not promise a fixed number of books per dollar, immediate automatic ordering, a specific recipient, or a delivery date.

Free means no gift is required

Our guides, Navigator, Arcade, and format information are free. A gift is not a subscription or retail purchase. Unless a separate campaign expressly says otherwise, ELR provides no goods or services in exchange.

Charitable status and records

ELR is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, with exemption effective September 15, 2026. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Keep your acknowledgment and consult your own adviser about your circumstances.

Checkout and giving questions

Payment details are entered on Zeffy's site, not here. Review the total, recurring-payment selection, and any optional platform contribution before giving. This site does not collect or store full payment-card numbers.

For a missing acknowledgment, accidental or duplicate gift, recurring-gift question, or proposed restriction, contact admin@educationalliteraryresources.org with the date and reference if available. Do not send card details. Discuss proposed restrictions before giving rather than assume a note creates an accepted restricted fund.

For checks, in-kind books, or another method, contact us for current instructions. Our correspondence address is not an open donation depot.
