Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
We want this website to be usable by as many visitors as reasonably possible.
Our accessibility commitment
Educational Literary Resources, Inc. is committed to providing a website that can be used by people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, text enlargement, voice input, or other assistive technologies.
We design and maintain this website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our technical accessibility target. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we review new content and features as the site develops.
Accessibility features
- Semantic headings and page landmarks to support screen-reader navigation.
- A skip link that moves keyboard users directly to the main page content.
- Keyboard-operable navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Text and interactive controls designed for strong color contrast.
- Responsive layouts that support browser zoom and small screens without requiring horizontal scrolling in normal use.
- Alternative text for meaningful images; decorative imagery is excluded from the accessibility tree when appropriate.
- Links written to communicate their purpose in context.
- Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
Need assistance or an alternative format?
If any part of this website creates an accessibility barrier, or if you need information in an alternative format, email ADMIN@EDUCATIONALLITERARYRESOURCES.ORG. Please identify the page, the problem you encountered, and the format or assistance that would work for you. We will make reasonable efforts to provide access and correct barriers promptly.
Ongoing review
We use a combination of code review, automated accessibility checks, keyboard testing, zoom/reflow testing, and manual review. Automated tools alone cannot establish complete accessibility, so significant site changes should also receive manual testing.
