Current legal status

Educational Literary Resources, Inc. is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation formed September 15, 2026. Its federal EIN is 42-5144988. The organization submitted Form 1023-EZ on September 17, 2026 seeking recognition under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3); that determination is pending.

Startup-stage finances

The organization is newly formed and expects modest startup receipts. Early expenses may include books and educational materials, shipping and delivery, government filing and charitable-registration fees, registered-agent and authorized-address services, bank charges, basic bookkeeping, software, and administrative tools used for charitable work.

Compensation and private benefit

No officer or director compensation is anticipated at formation. Organizational funds are intended for charitable purposes and reasonable expenses that support those purposes. Any future insider transaction must be handled through appropriate conflict procedures and applicable law.

Records

The organization intends to maintain corporate records, contribution records, expense records, and records of book and educational-material distributions. Public filings and required reports will be maintained as applicable.
