Our purpose

Educational Literary Resources, Inc. was formed in California in September 2026 to advance education and literacy for the public benefit. The corporation’s governing purpose includes acquiring and distributing books and other educational materials to schools, libraries, and other educational institutions and organizations, together with related educational and literary programs.

What we are building

We are in the startup phase. Our first priority is to build a modest, well-documented program that can acquire books responsibly, identify appropriate recipient organizations, and maintain records showing how charitable resources are used.

As resources grow, we intend to expand the number and variety of materials distributed and develop related educational content and literary programming consistent with our charitable mission.

Governance and nonprofit status

Commitment to responsible operation

The organization maintains governing documents, conflict-of-interest procedures, banking controls, contribution records, expense records, and program/distribution records. No officer or director compensation is anticipated at formation. We intend to publish meaningful updates as operations develop rather than claim impact before it has occurred.
